Gons.io is an immersive multiplayer game that puts you in a survival situation where shooting is crucial. Your objective is to collect edges and eliminate other players to enhance your own edge count, bringing you closer to achieving circular perfection.
As you delve into this mysterious world, you begin your journey as a humble triangle, but soon realize the freedom of movement at your disposal. Your exploration leads you to a small room, and with an insatiable curiosity, you venture forth into a passage. To your surprise, a spinning line segment catches your eye in the distance. Proceeding with caution, you approach and make contact, instantly morphing into a square. The sensation is invigorating, driving your desire for more.
Spotting what appears to be another segment partially obscured by a wall, you eagerly resume your movement towards it. However, upon closer inspection, you discover it's not a segment at all - but rather, another polygon. "Greetings!" you greet enthusiastically. "Perhaps you can enlighten me on the whereabouts of additional line segments?" Regrettably, there is no response; instead, the polygon begins to advance towards you. Panic sets in as an edge is propelled directly at you - it becomes apparent that they intend to harm, not assist you. Reacting swiftly, you dodge sideways as the segment narrowly misses your lower vertices.
Hastily escaping into nearby rooms and down passages, the gravity of the situation dawns upon you - this world is not what it initially seemed. The coveted edges that you had sought out are also desired by others, and they will stop at nothing to claim them for themselves. Feeling somewhat overwhelmed, something extraordinary occurs - the miracle of respawn unfolds before your eyes. A living triangle materializes out of thin air! As awe briefly consumes you, the reality of your circumstances resurfaces. "I deeply apologize," you mutter, as an edge emerges from your polygonal body, reminding you of the ruthless nature that now governs your existence.
